Introducing Sector32 Entertainment: A New Chapter in Gaming

Some ideas never really go away. They just wait for the right time.

Sector32 Entertainment has been one of those ideas.

What began years ago as a fascination with computers, programming, and video games has grown into something I’ve wanted to build for a long time: a place to create games, explore ideas, and share that creativity with others.

Today, I’m excited to officially introduce Sector32 Entertainment.

Built on a Love for Gaming

I grew up during a time when games didn’t need massive budgets, cinematic cutscenes, or hundreds of hours of content to be memorable. Sometimes all it took was a clever mechanic, an interesting world, or a challenge that kept you coming back for one more attempt.

That philosophy is at the heart of Sector32.

The goal isn’t to recreate the past, but to take inspiration from what made those experiences special while exploring what modern technology makes possible.

Some games will be simple, quirky, and unapologetically ridiculous. Others will explore deeper stories, complex systems, and worlds that feel alive.

Above all, I want to make games that are genuinely enjoyable to play.

What We’re Building

Sector32 is already home to several projects spanning different genres and styles.

From arcade-inspired experiences like Old Hotdog to more ambitious projects like Availume, a persistent medieval fantasy strategy game where kingdoms rise, alliances fracture, and history continues with or without you, there’s plenty in development.

Other projects explore puzzles, science fiction, storytelling, and experimental gameplay.

Not every game needs to be the next blockbuster. Sometimes a small, interesting idea is worth exploring simply because it might be fun.

And sometimes those small ideas turn into something much bigger.

More Than Just Game Development

While creating original games is a major part of Sector32, the vision extends beyond development.

The website is also being built as a growing destination for gaming enthusiasts, with information about games, developers, publishers, platforms, and the history of the medium.

Gaming has an incredible history, and I want Sector32 to be a place where that history can be explored alongside the games we’re creating today.

It’s an ambitious undertaking, and one that will continue to evolve over time.

An Independent Beginning

Sector32 isn’t launching with a massive development team, outside investors, or a multimillion-dollar budget.

It’s an independent effort built around curiosity, experimentation, and years of ideas that never quite went away.

Modern development tools, including AI-assisted workflows, have made it possible to explore ideas and build projects at a pace that would have been difficult for a small independent developer just a few years ago. But technology is only part of the process. Design decisions, creative direction, testing, refinement, and the occasional complete rethink remain essential.

The goal is to build things worth playing, not simply to build things quickly.

Some projects will be released for free. Others may grow into larger commercial games. Some experiments might never make it beyond a prototype.

That’s part of the process, and I’m looking forward to sharing it.

Sector32 is still growing, and there’s a lot left to build.

Over the coming months, I’ll be sharing new releases, development updates, behind-the-scenes looks, and more information about the projects taking shape.
